this car is probably the most untouched original austin 1100 with how i would describe a little bit scruffy but no rot anywhere what so ever but original. interior all good with no rips or tears on seats. car runs like a sewing machine and drives great. was off the road from 1973 till 2004 hense mileage of 47k. i have put new steering rack and track rod ends, driveshaft couplings, gearbox seals, clutch master cylinder and a few other odds and sods. had a new exhaust not long ago. just had oil and filter change. this car was going to be a keeper and everyday driver but something else came along i could not resist. have owned it about 18 mths or so. really honest little car that has mainly been untouched with no welding needed and dont think any been done. i would leave as is or a perfect base to tidy up if thats the way you want to go. price is what i paid for car so only after my money back.
