Car was originally purchased from Harlow Jap autos in February 2019 as a fresh import grade 4-B anyone who knows HJA knows the quality of the cars they sell is second to none.
Car is currently on 87000km (54, 500k miles) I have never had it converted to mph as I wanted to keep it authentic JDM.
Car has been solely looked after by FB Tuning since I have owned it.
Since I have had the car, I have done the following
I added a Blitz Nur spec R cat back exhaust & when that was fitted the car was remapped for UK fuel (shell v-power) by FB Tuning. I still have the original STI cat back exhaust which will come with the car. This surprisingly isn’t as loud as you might think, I think it sounds perfect myself.
Estimated power currently at 320bhp which is perfect for a usable fast road car
Group N STI Uprated Front Arm Bushes
Carbon front splitter (now has a crack in the middle at the front of it though)
Turbo smart dual port BOV (still have the original which will come with the car)
Pioneer double DIN screen with apple car play
Replaced radiator with a genuine Subaru replacement from Sprinting hare JDM (due to original leaking)
STI Mudflaps
2 new goodyear eagle F1 front tyres
Replaced rear ARB bushes due to an advisory on mot
Car also has a set of fully adjustable TEIN coilovers which were on the car when I purchased it
Car has full MOT until April 2024 passing with no advisories 4 months ago.
Service History.
I have the original service book from Japan there are stamps from the dealership in Japan
2, 037km & 15, 329km there are a few more stamps in the book but no recorded millage and its all in Japanese so difficult to tell what those stamps mean.
In my ownership
Dec 2018 serviced by HJA before being collected by myself @ 73, 000km (45, 917k miles)
Jan 2020 full service at FB Tuning including, diff oil, brake fluid, power steering fluid, gear box oil, spark plugs, oil filter, air filter @ 79, 500km (49, 400k miles)
Sep 2021 full service at FB Tuning (excluding diff oil, brake fluid and power steering fluid) @ 85, 000km (53, 000k miles)
Car has only covered just over 1, 486km since then and was off the road for almost 8 months over winter and SORN for about 4 months of that.
I then got the car back on the road at the beginning of this year April 23 on a milage of 86, 486km (53, 740k miles)
July 2023 I have just had it in to FB Tuning last week for a full cambelt kit replacement and Oil change & oil filter & power steering fluid also replaced.
The car starts on the button every time, pulls well and has been an absolute pleasure to own and drive in my ownership.
Car is in great condition underneath; it’s never been undersealed so nothing being hidden behind thick black underseal it has never been used when salt is on the roads and only used in the wet a handful of times when I have been caught out and about in the rain.
There really aren’t many bad points this car is in great condition for a 20 year old Subaru
Bad points (being very picky but want to list everything)
Headlights could do with a good polish to bring them back to life
Some very minor cosmetic blemishes around the car but she really is immaculate for a 20 tear old car.
Wheels could do with a refurb they have been like this since purchase I have just never had them done not bad but just not perfect.
Could do with some new front discs and pads if I am being honest but not an advisory on mot I just personally feel it’s something I would do if I was keeping the car

Only 300 of these were made, The RA was a special package available through Subaru’s Technical International (STI) that was produced in ltd quantities for the Japanese market
It is fully equipped version of the 2. 0ltr WRX STI spec c and took advantage of the stripped-out spec c car, but with luxuries like AC and electric folding mirrors. Their EJ20 engines were finely tuned to produce 280bhp thanks to a larger FHI Turbocharger, exhaust, and other engine tuning.
A large array of STI accessories came with the Type RA including a carbon-fibre wing, new suspension, new pedals, BBS wheels and a sports shifter. Other small details include Sports ABS, Strut bars 17-inch brake package, intercooler water spray with 12 litre tank in the boot, transmission engine oil cooler, 21mm stabilizer quick ratio steering rack.
Inside the RA has sports seats SRS steering wheel with STI cherry red stitching, leather wrapped shift knob sports pedals with aluminium pads, full auto air con, and the desirable purple STI bucket seats.
Outside the RA has a lightweight aluminium hood and boot, fog lamp covers roof vent & carbon wing and carbon front splitter.
It really is a beautiful car to look at and drive it turns heads everywhere it goes and always draws attention at shows/ cars & coffee mornings, but the driving experience is second to none it really is one of the best cars Subaru ever made.
