Bodywork & Chassis: The car was a faded red but in solid condition when my father bought it and was subject to a complete strip down and respray in ivory white. Any rusty metal was cut out and replaced with metal and the car is rust free. The paintwork is in excellent condition and virtually blemish free while the undercarriage is fully undersealed - the car presents beautifully. The car still has is original lights. Interior: The interior trim is in very good condition various new fixings. The carpets & seat covers were changed not long prior to my purchase and are still very good. The car also features inertia type front seat belts and 3 point fixed position rear seatbelts and are suitable for smaller passengers. The car has its original instruments. All lights, wipers and the horn work as they should. Mechanicals: The original lever-cable operated starter is still used. Brakes, suspension, bushes, kingpins and many other parts were all replaced during the restoration, while other original parts such as the steering idler were refurbished.
