This car competed in the 1977 Singapore Airlines London to Sydney Rally, finishing 18th outright. It is the only car to have competed in the 1977 London to Sydney rally and the 1979 Repco Around Australia Trial. It also competed in two of the Southern Cross International Rallies in Australia. This is a rare chance to own a genuine original classic rally car. Fully restored in 2019 - 2022. Has not been rallied since completion. See story in July 2023 edition of Classic Cars magazine. Until recently this car was on display in the National Motor Racing Museum in Australia. Comes with a restoration receipt file showing over AUD$50, 000 spent. Ready to rally or put on display. Ideal car fur future marathon rallies including possible 50th anniversary events in 2027 for the 1977 London to Sydney. This car has a unique story to tell. It has only had four owners from new. The original builder of the rally car also assisted with the restoration. All the hard woek has been done, including tracking down EOM parts and designing and printing the 1977 L to S livery.
