I am selling this on behalf of my friend’s wife after owning it for 18yrs and covering around 262, 208miles with herself behind the wheel. The car has been in daily use since new with 90% of the mileage covered on the motorway commuting.
The car had recently developed the dreaded immobiliser light issue and was becoming temperamental so unfortunately it was decided to park it up. I have since replaced the negative terminal on the battery which was looking corroded and this seems to have solved the problem (touch wood) and at the moment it has started every time I have needed to move it – the car is stored with me off the road and SORN’d now. Although we have now got the car running again, it is due a cambelt change so they have decided to let it go.
We have removed the following parts to be used on the replacement car….
1. Sports CAT
2. CAT Back Stealth Exhaust System
3. Spare Wheel
The car is completely original and has only had a SS exhaust fitted when the original gave up.
In 2020 the car had a brand new genuine bonnet as the original had a few rust spots, whilst having the bonnet painted they also sourced a used rear bumper and had this freshly painted, the bumper has never been fitted but will be included with the car.
