MERCEDES 350SL R107 1972 that requires restoration . Bodywork is very good , shut line gaps etc are excellent and apart from boot lid and a few spots on bonnet will not need any real work to the exterior body panels . No signs of accidents , a very straight car . There are bubbles and the odd chip etc on the bodwork but really good and solid . I like the patina of age of old classic cars but I guess whoever decides to buy this car will wish to have it re sprayed . The outer sills are very good too . The front foot well floors need replacing on drivers side and could be patched on passenger side , boot floor RHS needs new panel , LHS could be patched or replaced . The rear under seats shelf panels are good with just a bit of surface rust. The engine turns but starter motor sounds like it would need repair or replacing so being sold as a non runner . Mechanics , brakes etc will all need going through , it is a restoration project that will need trailering away . Interior is in good condition as is the headliner and seats have no wear or marks , Soft top is in reasonable condition .
