Engine/ transmission:
16V KR engine fully rebuilt to fast road specification by TSR performance. This consists of:
-Original 1800 KR block, bored out to 2000cc.
-Lightened & balanced crankshaft.
-TSR Spec Wossner Forged pistons.
-TSR Spec ‘PACK A’ Cylinder head. This consists of Porting, polishing & Gas flowing the head. This is coupled with Newman 276 camshafts & Piper vernier pulley.
-TSR Baffled sump
-Fully rebuilt gearbox, fitted with a Quaife LSD.
-Uprated clutch
-Every bearing, gasket & seal replaced during the rebuild process.
-AwesomeGTI Silicone coolant hoses
-Full Milltek “Classic” Stainless steel exhaust system, coupled with a TSR/ Milltek 4 Branch stainless manifold.
-Uprated high-performance HT leads
-High-performance external Oil Cooler located behind the grill
The Engine is running 185-190 BHP.
** The engine & gearbox have done a shy over 500 miles since the full rebuild, so it’s still fresh!**
Suspension/ brakes:
-Underside suspension components are all powder coated.
-Fully polybushed from front to back.
-BC racing coilovers
-Eibach anti roll bars (Front & rear)
-New front and rear brake discs & calipers.
-Front Upper OMP strut brace
-Rear OMP strut brace
-Underside front strut brace
Wheels/ tyres:
-Fully refurbished BBS RA’s , wrapped in brand new tyres.
Exterior:
Full (BARE METAL & GLASS OUT) respray in Factory Oak green metallic, at a great cost of £10K. The paintwork is in show condition. Engine bay has also been painted , during the TSR rebuild.
Interior:
Original Rainbow interior in Immaculate condition. No wear or damage to the usual drivers bolster. Factory headlining which is in excellent condition.
History :
Folder full of receipts going back to 91. Nearly every MOT & Tax disc from new.
All receipts present for maintenance, modifications & TSR build.
Over £20K+ has been poured into this car within the last few years & it’s done minimal miles since !
2X original 16V Pill keys & 2X Clifford alarm fobs.
I don’t think there’s another Oak Green 16V like it out there. This is the ultimate OEM+ spec, in the most iconic mk2 combination of Oak Green & 16V. Pictures don’t do this car justice at all.
The spec is outstanding, so I probably have missed the odd items!
