Based on the all-conquering YZ motocrossers, the IT 250 uses such high-tech innovations as YEIS, capacirot dicharge ignition, a chrome-moly double-cradle frame and Yamaha`s exclusive Monoshock suspension.
This 1980 Yamaha IT 250 was imported into the UK in 2016 to take part in the Malle Mile, which it did without issue, and has been kept in storage since and used occasionally in a paddock.

Single cylinder, two stroke, air-cooled engine.
Geomax MX33 tyres.
Original fender tool kit.
Paintwork in generally good condition with a few blemishes including light stone chips, light marks, and various scuffs, including larger scuffs on the hand guards.
The seat is in good order, some controls show notable signs of use, with normal wear on the grips and pegs.
Engine oil and filter change service June 2021.
