1971 Type 54 Lotus Europa ultimate fast road/ BARC race series car in class F.
This car was given the full Banks treatment way back in the late 80's and raced throughout the 90's and 00's a very well know car/ driver on the UK circuits with BARC and still in amazing condition throughout.
Powered by a 1598 works 16v Opel twin cam on a modified rebuilt type 15 transmission and race clutch tranversley mounted in the frame.
All fresh Millers competition oil, filter, new belts, water pump and pulleys.
Running Jenvey throttle bodies and full MBE programmable fuel and ignition management with roof mounted forced air supply and Banks airbox.
Custom Tony Law exhaust system.
Removable rear clam shell body for ease of major servicing.
AP Racing 4 pots on all corners with vented discs adjustable split Lotus type 47 pedal box with fantastic stopping power through coil over suspension with double wishbone arms all fully adjustable for any geometry track set up.
Alloy front mounted safety fuel tank.
Full racing cage with bolt on drivers door bar, Willian's 4 point FIA harness, and plumbed fire system.
Alloy front custom radiator, additional electric water pump.
All new electrics built in Stack instrument system on custom alloy dashboard. OMP/ Spa quick release steering wheel, Lotus light weight seat.
Custom 15in Lotus 47 alloys on road legal Avon competition tyres, new dry cell battery.
Massive history two large folders including all race circuit data and all geometry set up information going way back, technical information and competition licience details.
Car is fully road compliant very light, registered as Historic on V5 and fully hpi clear.
