Selling a UK Supplied Toyota Celica ST182 Coupe, in Metallic blue and Grey velour interior… under 121k miles from new, service book fully stamped and having had recent and major 120k service.
Starts on the button, drives absolutely superbly and would make a daily driver without any problems!
EXTERIOR:
Cosmetically it is very presentable and pleasing to the eye… has numerous age related marks/ door dings and a paint reaction on the upper drivers door… small bit of lacquer peel on the edge of the spoiler, otherwise, it’s in good solid shape, with no rust. Lights all work, tyres are all matching Dunlops with excellent tread… modern alloys (all lightly curbed) but the originals will come with the car… electric antenna isn’t working, so radio signal is s bit bad.
INTERIOR:
Actually very tidy inside, again with minor age wear to where the drivers elbows sit on the doorcard, wants new mats too, but everything works, inc electric windows/ mirrors/ sunroof, modern usb radio (with bad signal), no rips or tears to the seats or dash… genuinely really original and nice inside. A good valet would have it looking really amazing!
MECHANICS:
Has had a ton of maintenance done, to preserve it for the next 60k miles, inc Cambelt/ waterpump, oil and filter, transmission fluid flush, antifreeze change, front and rear brake discs/ pads… all of this done in the last 500 miles! It does still need a front left CV joint replacing in the future, but it’s not bad. Only advisory on the MOT is a minor oil leak.
Auto gearbox is superb and everything is doing what it’s meant to… and very well!
SUMMARY:
It is incredibly reliable, even sat in traffic during the recent 30 degree heat… drive’s fantastic and is quite nippy, with the 2. 0-16v engine, plus has overdrive and a sport button! Cosmetics could use a little tlc, but that can be done over time… the car is fully useable whilst making it perfect. I’ve only really bought the car to resell, once it had all the brakes done and mot sorted… I absolutely love this little thing, gets looks everywhere it goes!
