Current ownership 33 years.
The car was purchased new in Germany by first owner.
The second owner purchased the car in Germany (May 1984 with 80000 km) and shipped it to USA.
I purchased the car in June 1990 while working in the US.
History
Continuous history since new. The car comes with substantial detailed documentation.
This car is totally rust free and never sustained any major accidents.
Paint/ Body work/ trim
It has an overall nice patina.
Original paint under wheel arches & roof. See images.
Both sides, bonnet & boot were re-painted 33 years ago, due to poor handling while in transit.
Original carpets and interior are in very good condition. Both door cards/ membrane barriers along with door glass inner/ outer sealing rubbers replaced.
Front seats were retrimmed in leather with O. E. M material insert.

My Carrera 3 has been one of the most reliable cars I have owned. In the early years I used the car for work Europe. The car spent over 4 years in Scandinavia. A further 2 years in mainland Europe.

10 May 1984 Purchased from Kraemer Porsche, Stuttgart/ Zuffenhausen 80000 km on odometer documented engine rebuild at 50000 km (Hahn GmbH, factory dealer) documented transmission rebuild at 66000 km (Hahn GmbH)

22 Nov 1984 clutch plate and throw—out bearing replaced
30 Jan 1985 transmission synchro rings, gears 1 — 4 replaced

General maintenance such as tune—ups and oil changes have been performed personally. Oil has been replaced consistently every 3000 miles. Overall mechanical condition of the vehicle is excellent; the body is rust—free and has never sustained a collision. The vehicle is immediately drivable.
