I have decided to part with my '68 GTO to fund a new toy, I've put a fair few miles on the clock since I bought it just over a Year ago so I can vouch for reliability.
She drives real nice and has fantastic brakes to stop you on a dime.
Mot'd 3 weeks ago.
Lightly restored with an original interior apart from steering wheel, Mooneyes central guage cluster and a retro radio/ USB player.
All gauges/ lights work, missing the Ram Air setup (can be purchased from Ames)
All original wheels & trim rings in great shape.
The good:
New Tyres
New Steering box
New Dash wiring harness
Restored/ upgraded original radiator complete with new, period correct radiator cap and bottom hose
New reproduction Tachometer
New ignition switch and cylinder
The bad:
Repairs to both corners of door bottoms (see pics)
Nearside rear exhaust manifold gasket blown out (currently patched up)
Tear in driver seat
Tachometer doesn't illuminate when headlights are on, it also stops working when headlights are on too.
After market windscreen wash pump is working but no water comes out of the pipes.
I have a few things lying around my garage for it to.
New Headers
New, correct centre drain oil pan
1 piece gasket for the oil pan
New vent window rubber seals ( offside rubber on car is perished) New front end bolt kit.
I know I'm going to regret selling this fantastic, fun to drive car but as usual my inner Demons are telling me it's time to move on to something else.

Imported from Lexington, South Carolina in 2021 it had been sat in a barn for 10 Years as part of a private collection.
