Full history and a current MOT. Bought from a very reputable classic dealership a few years ago.
4. 0L inline-six Facelift XJS, 131, 490 miles currently on the clock. Mechanically absolutely sound and runs very smoothly. A couple of cosmetic flaws (pictured) and she suffered a knock a while back resulting in a dent in the driver's side door and scratch on the rear wheel arch (I've included photos of these). Has a couple of other minor flaws but work has picked up drastically meaning I don't have the time to work on her properly. I'm just wanting her to go to a good home with someone who has the time to put in the care she needs!
I've done some work recently such as:
- new battery
- new rocker cover gasket
- all new spark plugs
Flaws are:
- passenger side door needs working free as it sticks.
- passenger side electric window doesn't currently work.
- rev counter works intermittently. This is a mechanically perfect example of an XJS Facelift. I have used her as somewhat of a daily driver and she's never let me down. I'll be genuinely upset to see her go as this has been my favourite car I've ever owned, however with work and travel commitments increasing at a rate of knots, I have no choice but to let her go to someone who has the time to put as much effort into keeping her than I can offer.
