Dodge D100 custom cab - American classic V8 square body pick-up truck
Genuine ex military truck.
1978 long bed (8' x 5')
99'300 miles
MOT until March '24
360 cu/ i small block V8 (5. 9L) with bolt on performance parts.
Engine is from a dodge demon and has a 727 automatic transmission. Both were fully rebuilt in 2018 by previous owner and have only had around 4k miles use in that time.
3 speed column shift auto transmission recently serviced with new oil and UJ.
Holley 750 double pumper carburetor
Edelbrock Street performer intake
Performance camshafts
Stainless side exit exhaust
Deep dish steel wheels
Solid chasis with some rust around the rear arches and door sills.
Will make a good base for a full restoration or customisation project, or use it as is. I bought the truck in 2019 with plans to make it into a shop truck for a business I was starting.
Found out I was expecting my first child 2 hours after collecting it, and lockdown put the final nail in that coffin.
Used it for pleasure, going to car shows, camping etc.
Now I have too many kids to fit in it, so it's time for someone else to enjoy it.
Real head turner and it's never let me down.
If I had space, I'd keep it and restore it with my kids when they're a bit older, but it's parked in the street, so not practical and it doesn't get used much lately.
Don't see many of these around, especially in military guise.
