A very nice 4 owner BMW R75/ 6 low mileage airhead. 3650 miles since 1981 when new clocks were fitted following a minor accident. All repairs were carried out by the original supplier which was Copes. The mileage to 1981 is unknown but believed to be low considering the overall condition of the bike. First owner 1975 till 2012, second owner till 2018, third owner till April 2023. I bought the BM in April and have done 605 miles through a rubbish summer, the only reason I am selling is because we are moving house and I have 4 bikes.
previous owner put new Metzelers on, he sonic cleaned the carbs and refurbished. S/ S brake hose, a new battery in 2019. I have changed the engine and gearbox oils. There are a few minor marks on tank but the bike is nearly 50yrs old. it runs really well and handles nice.
I've had the rear main seal done by the retired but well known airhead specialist Andrew Sexton, at the same time the gearbox oil seal was done. It was noted at the time the main seal was still the original seal and the clutch was original and had little wear which helps to point to a low mileage bike.
When the rear main seal was done the bike had the carbs set up, the points and timing were adjusted etc.
The valves were checked and adjusted, and a couple of other minor items were checked. Includes a pair of Krauser panniers, an original BMW tank bag... all purchased by the first owner in 1975. Rear rack included with mono key plate and kappas top box, top box has a few marks on it. Also included is a period Givi screen.

Bike has been kept running and ridden it as much as I could through a poor summer (600 miles)
