Please see my labour of love for the past 3 years. Her name is Myrtle, she is mechanically sound and reliable low mileage car.
? She has had a full respray that was done by a local sprayers in Jaguar Odyssey red metallic pearl. The colour is stunning when the light hits it. The photos don't really show it off. The respray was done in Oct last year.
? The HS4 carb has been serviced and tuned. The tuning was done by AC Dodd of Youtube fame. It was tuned a few months ago.
? She has a 1. 75 inch performance exhaust with a performance manifold and K&N air filter.
? The bespoke interior was handmade. The new carpet set also has a quality underlay.
? The engine has had a new coil, fuel pump, HT leads and has been serviced regularly.
? New front discs and pads were put on about 1000 miles ago at the same time as the tyres.
? The lights and mirrors are all new, with a new front windscreen. All the window rubbers are new and were added when it was resprayed.
? The rear subframe was removed 2 years ago and refurbished with all new parts.
? MOT was carried out in May 2023 with no advisories.
? Mileage is 51200 which I believe is genuine looking at past MOTs.
The driving experience has much improved, the engine is strong and pulls well in all the gears. The performance upgrades and properly tuned carb have made it really fun to drive and she effortlessly keeps up with modern traffic. The exhaust has a subtle rasp when accelerating and she loves doing 70mph on the motorway, but really loves the tight twisty country lanes. She gets plenty of looks when driving about and attracts attention when on the drive way.
