AUSTIN 10 LICHFIELD SALOON
A much loved and looked after vehicle that belonged to my late father which has been dry stored in a garage for many years and is in overall very good condition. The car was running prior to the dry store and has been rolled out recently. The engine turns freely and the brakes work. We haven?t attempted to start the car and it is still in the original condition as we were advised not to restore it.
My father lovingly restored this vehicle and we will be very sad to sell it.
First registered in March 1936 with a 1125cc petrol engine. The colour is black/ blue and it is in good condition with a little surface rust.
The wool carpets have some moth damage and the seats look to be original.
Internally the glove compartment does need some attention as does one corner of the roof lining.
The vehicle took part in the Rotaract Club of Guildford Summer Show 1982 in the Informal Display of Historic Vehicles and Machinery.
MOT certificates available from August 1978 to October 1998 (only missing 5 years) as well as a duplicate copy of the original Registration Book available.
