Austin Cooper 1275 Mk1 'Works' Rally Replica.
Accurate replica of the famous LBL cars which competed in (and won) the 1967 Monte Carlo Rally.
Many genuine period fittings including:
4xLucas 700 Lamps on bar (2xSLR700 2XSFT700)
Lucas 576 boot-mount reverse lamp
Aley 3 point cage
Halda Twinmaster
Heuer Clocks
Butler Map Light
Minilite Alloys
Genuine Monte Carlo front plate.
Plus:
'Works' type dash with Smith's Rev Counter
Route Card Holder
Navigator door panel
Bradex extinguisher
Headlamp protectors
and much more. It would take a great deal of searching and quite a lot of expense to obtain all of these parts now (it was time consuming and expensive nearly ten years ago!).
The majority of switches etc function although a few are for the correct look. However these could be readily connected up to work if required.
Twin Su Carbs were professionally rebuilt followed by rolling road set up.
Has been in storage for a period so will be gone over including a service and although of course exempt, will have a new MOT for peace of mind.
I doubt that this car could be replicated for less than the asking price.

Has taken part in several Heritage road runs including several times from the Monte Carlo start ramp in Glasgow.
Has also been run up the famous Rest and Be Thankful hill climb in Scotland.
Only for sale as I have another project which has been waiting for many years and the space is required to start that.
