1993 Vauxhall Cavalier 1. 8 GLS in Lagoon Blue
133k miles
MOT to 22nd October 2024 with no advisories.
Just serviced with cambelt and waterpump done at 131k.
New rear wheel bearing and exhaust manifold gasket.
Car has had some welding, this has been done to a good standard.
PAS, tilt and slide sunroof, with no leaks electric front windows, central locking, single CD player. Has original radio/ cassette (not working) as a show piece if you prefer that.
Bad points - nsr arch could do with tidying, car is obvioulsly 30 years old and has some marks and scratches commensurate with age, sometimes engine management light comes on during longer journeys, has never stayed on for long and never affected running, central locking can play up and need locking, unlocking and relocking a few times.
Appeared in a comparison test against a Sierra in the final issue of Classic Car Mart (and is on the cover), I have a print copy that will stay with the car
Do not expect an immaculate show car, it's a 1990s Vauxhall that has been used constantly throughout its life, what it is is a good survivor than can be used as it is and gradually improved if you so wish.
Reluctant sale but I have three other classics and can't use them all!
