For sale is my 1963 Rover P4 95. I have only owned this vehicle for a few months and whilst it is lovely impending retirement and the prospect of a house move mean that I need to move it on.
Prior to my owning the car it had four keepers. I bought it in April of this year from a retired motor mechanic in North Wales who is something of an expert on the marque. Prior to my collecting the car it was given a fresh MOT certificate (with no advisories). The car seems to have had a very pampered existence. This is borne out by the comprehensive history file which accompanies it. I was amazed at how much the previous owner had done on the car during his period of ownership. Many of the jobs he had undertaken were enhancements rather than necessary. For example, four new Vredestein Tyres (despite the old ones being fine), new rear springs duly greased and wrapped in greased tape, road wheels blasted and stove enamelled, a new mild steel exhaust becuse the stainless steel one was too loud, new window rubbers, a new battery and isolator, tidying up of the engine bay with the refurbishment of the air filter.
The car is fitted with an overdrive.
During my ownership I have overhauled the cabin air intake replacing the rubber seals which had gone hard over time. Importantly, when I bought the car it had no seat belts. I very quickly got the car down to Quickfit Seatbelts at High Wycombe and spent a great deal of money having four inertia seat belts fitted. In addition I bought a car mat set from Coverdale. (Some of the photos on this ad were taken prior to the fitting of the seat belts and mats).
The car is a delight. The structure is very solid and it is very well sorted mechanically.
The insurance valuation sits at £12500. I'm advertising at just shy of £11000 but am open to reasonable offers.
Please note that I am not interested in exporting this car. It is for sale only in the UK.
