A genuine 'Barn Find' from 1972, untouched until 2019, (Engine & Gearbox scrapped) As an engineless car, mechanically all OK, bodywork stripped to bare metal, primed and sprayed two tone (Pullman Colours).
Included inthe sale, 5 powder coated wheels in black, 5 new tyres and tubes, 2 headlights, original wooden dash, most dials, Chrome cowl, 2 leather seats, running boards, new roof panel. New door cards.
Would suit modern engine (or Austin 10 engine & gearbox possibly available £500 from a club member). Renovated mechanics cost £850, Bodyshop £2500, wheels & new tyres £500.
Sell for £2750 at a loss. When renovated could sell for £7500. As a donor car for a HOT ROD - perfect, lots of engine bay space. As an EV even more perfect. In the way, just need the space. Can get delivered.
Austin 10 Drivers Club Member, VAR member. Genuine 'Barn-Find' from 1972, found 2019. Mechanically restored. Stripped to bare metal, primed and painted. Excellent chassis and all door fittings. Abandoned EV project. Would easily restore and would be much better with modern engine/ geerbox.
