CX PRESTIGE, ULTRA RARE ( DEPOSIT pending)
1983 CX Prestige, black with tan leather upholstery. This is one of only 4 Series 1 CX Prestige’s left in the British isles.
I have owned the car since 2016, but need to sell it now due to limited storage space.
Bodywork is in very good condition, with only a few minor areas of repaint before my ownership. The critical areas of boot floor and rear arches are perfect. This is a No sunroof car, so no dreaded corrosion issues.
Upholstery is in perfect condition with no damage whatsoever, and has the original deep pile carpets , rear footrests and sun visors.
The car drives faultlessly, with no leaks. Suspension spheres and fuel pipes and pump were changed in my ownership.
Engine is running perfectly. Currently showing approx. 9000 miles, which is obviously 109000 as these are 5 digit. Speedo and milometer seem to be recording kilometres rather than miles as sender was replaced prior to my ownership with a french sourced unit. Engine bay presents superbly.
NO SWAPS OR EXCHANGES unless it is an Escort RS. The car passed its UK mot in 2016 just prior to my ownership. I drove the car from London in 2016 and have used it sparingly during the summer months. The car is now mot and tax exempt. It has been kept in an insulated garage since purchase.
