Description
For sale is my 2000 Fiat Seicento SX.
Recent MOT failure, ideal little project for restoration and then would be a perfect show car or classic car with increasing value on these usually valued north of £2000 with some examples having more mileage than this one.
It has a binder full of every receipt this car has ever had dating back to the date of purchase and its original brochure too!
I have owned this car since January 2021 and purchased this car with the intention to begin a partial restoration of its exterior and interior bringing it back to its originality.
The first thing I set to do was to sort out the few engine bay parts I wasn't happy with, I fitted oem Fiat spark plugs, Magnetti Marelli filters, an original belt and then replaced the slightly weaping rocker cover gasket with an eom fiat replacement all at the same time.
The car then became my summer car only ever seeing daylight on warm summer days (as can be seen on mileage between its MOT dates), the car always had a few advisories on MOT history however I only ever sorted out the major things and gradually sorted out any advisories as and when I deemed it necessary.
Recently the car had been stored while I was away on holiday in October and upopn my first time driving it after its month long storage the belt snapped (Engine is the 0. 9l pushrod engine SPI, so this does not harm the engine) and due to life engagements I could never get round to getting it ready for its MOT, I had a garage test the vehicle for me to see what it may fail on and upon its failure I haven't had time to repair and restore it myself and so it pains me to see it sat on my driveway every day soit must go to someone who will love this car and give it a new lease of life. From its original date of manufacture upto now this car has a binder full of nearly every single penny ever spent on it (no word of a lie) from a random bulb to a complete new fuel tank or exhaust pipe.
I have owned this car personally since January of 2021 and have loved the summers in the Peak District I have spent with this car, I had the intention of restoring this car during my ownership and driving it back to my family village in Italy next year however its recent MOT failure and work/ family commitments have meant that I have very minimal time to even sort out the small things on this little Seicento.
