A truly remarkable history exists with this car with a huge file of documentation
• Mr George originally purchased the car from the Volvo dealership in Cheltenham on 15th June 1965 and kept the car for 21+ years until sometime around 1986/ 87
• The car was serviced by the suppling dealer through to 1968 after which there are literally 100’s of documents for servicing, Tyres, exhaust etc giving a full history 53 hand written invoices from K. Leech Motor Engineer on the outskirts of Cheltenham

• Original fully stamped Volvo service booklet, showing 3000 mile service intervals.
• Stamped up supplementary service book up to July 1972 at 66000 miles (22 services)
• Original typed invoices and receipts for service work dating back from 1965
• Original Volvo 120 Series handbook
• Original Volvo Service manuals ( full A4 folder set)
• It goes a little quiet from late 1980’s until the mid-1990’s when the car underwent some considerable restoration work at Amazon Cars and Amazon Restorations Ltd
• The car drives extremely well keeping up with modern traffic and has had the addition of Servo assisted breaks and an Overdrive gear box.
• Inertia reel seat belts fitted to the original centre metal securing loop
• Strong engine that starts on the button and ideals well.
• Original rubber floor mat throughout the car and original Jack
• The Bodywork is very tidy but some odd blemishes and a bit of a slight colour match from a paint job on the lower drivers door from the 1990’s
• 2 sets of matching keys.
• The interior is in excellent condition with no damage to the seats but the elastic has gone in the door pockets.
• Although the car has been MOT and Tax exempt for some time you can see that it had been MOT’d every year up until 2021 and has been used regularly since then. It did a trip of 75 miles yesterday.
• All in all a very useable and sound 59 year old Volvo.
Total history from day one. Always been kept Taxed and MOT's throughout its life by regular maintenance. All documented.
