This 1964 Morris mini super deluxe has been in my family for over 20 years, when I bought it, I was told that the family who owned it before him had done so from new.
The car has been mostly restored by professional mini restorers, it was shotblasted, had a new boot floor, front panel and it sills were sorted. It was then repainted.
The original 850 engine was swapped by an owner before me for an A+ goldseal 998 engine. The original gearbox remains, and has been rebuilt once in my ownership.
The engine has a Swiftune SW5 cam, head had hardened unleaded valve seats fitted, has been mildly ported and it runs an RC40 exhaust. It was tuned on the rolling road at Southam mini center and was around 6HP above standard for a 998!
Brakes and subframes were checked and repaired as necessary.
The interior has been refreshed in its entirety, but not all of it has been fitted at this point.
The grille is original and now nearly 60 years old, it would do with going to a chrome restorers for strip, heavy coppering and replate.
The rest of the mini is standard with many original parts.
I don't get chance to drive it very much these days so it needs to move on to someone who wants to finish off the cosmetic jobs and enjoy driving it.
I have no reason to think that the mileage listed is not accurate.
