Very good example of this famous Sports Saloon. it was first registered in UK as CDY604 in 1947. I purchased the car in 2019 and imported it into Guernsey but it is tax-paid and I understand may be able to retain the old Reg no. I purchased the vehicle following inspection by a RM Club member and following a recent illness I am no longer able to drive the car hence I reluctantly offer it for sale. Whilst in my custody all work required in the inspection report has been completed and during my recent hospitalisation a new clutch was fitted. The vehicle was awarded best in 1940's class award in the Guernsey Classic Car show in June 2019.
Whilst it cannot be described as concours it is in good usable condition throughout with only minor blemishes on the paintwork. There is an extensive history file going back to the 80's and was the subject of a full body restoration and rewire completed by the then owner Mr Peter Dawson in 2009. The Riley RM club is able to supply virtually all spares and technical information and the car has full workshop manual and specific updates as part of its history file.
