This car was delivered new in 1980 by garage Mercier, a Ferrari importer, in August 1980. It was sold two years later to its second owner, who kept it until 2013. It was then owned by a gentleman until 2019, when the current owner bought it. We are therefore offering you a rare GTS version (255hp), carburettors, Boxer paintwork, with a clear and transparent history, just out of a major overhaul (bill of more than 17, 000 euros: carburettors, clutch, timing, sealing, etc.). Exterior: The paintwork is tight and smooth. We can find photos of the car in the archives dating back to 2004 with its Boxer colour, and it is listed in the various Ferrari 308 registers. Interior: The interior, with its Bordeaux seats, is absolutely superb. These have recently been redone. All the electrics work, and the car is fitted with air conditioning as standard. The car is also fitted with its original Blaupunkt Nürnberg car radio. The Targa roof fits perfectly with the bodywork. We also note the presence of the tool kit and the original jack. Mechanics: The car has been perfectly maintained since new, as evidenced by the imposing binder containing all the invoices. A major overhaul has just been carried out (Ferrari Biarritz and Arcel Motor), including clutch, carburettor adjustment, timing, sealing, etc. Chassis and underpinnings: Sold with French collector's registration.
