This yougtimer is a very original example of a typical strong and sturdy Amazone. Its 2liter engine with double carburettor makes it fly if you want to. The wheels have been changed for a better grip and a more sportive appearance.
No resto work has ever been done, which shows that the car has been well looked after. The lovely red interior, the rooflining and the chromework all-round are still in very good condition. The chairs have headrests. Comes with all necessary registration documents and import details. More photographs and recently made FILMS are available on request. The films give a good impression of the car as such and the running of it. They cannot be added on this page. I am wanting to sell to finance a new project. I am looking for a serious buyer, no time wasters. The sunvisor is negociable. As I write new carpets are being added to its beauty.
I bought this lovely Amazone in South Africa in 2002 from the first owner and imported him to Holland in 2007. He has remained loyal to us through the many years with long trips all-over South Africa, Holland and France. I have always loved the sturdy Amazones from the time I had one as a student. So running into one in South Africa brought back good memories and and could I not resist buying it. The engine still runs like a dream without any hick-ups or problems. Apart from a petrolpumpfilter, the car has never let us down. It is unique because of its originality and the lack of rust anywhere, and you will find to small dents, hardly visible. The crack in the front window does not bother the driver or co-driver. Being almost 60 years old, almost untouched, there are a few spots to attend to and a few stone chips.
