Description
This yougtimer is a very original example of a typical strong and sturdy Amazone. Its 2l engine with double carburettor makes it fly if you want to. The wheels have been changed for a better grip and a more sportive appearance.
No resto work has ever been done, which shows that the car has been well looked after. It never had any rust and still hasn't. The lovely red interior, the rooflining and the chromework all-round are still in very good condition. The chairs have headrests. Comes with all necessary registration documents and import details. More photographs and recently made FILMS available on request. The films give a good impression of the car as such and the running of it. They cannot be added on this page. I am wanting to sell to finance a new project. Please make your offer to be discussed if you are a serious buyer. This Amazone was bought by me in South Africa in 2002 from the first owner and imported to Holland in 2007. It has remained loyal to us through the many years with long trips all-over South Africa, Holland, and France. I have always loved the sturdy Amazones from the time I had one as a student. Later I ran into one in South Africa and could not resist buying it. We travelled all over the country during our holidays, the engine always humming away without any hick-ups or problems. Apart from a petrolpumpfilter, the car has never let us down. It is unique because of its originality and the lack of rust anywhere, just a small dent on two places, not visable. The crack in the front window does not bother the driver or co-driver. Being almost 60 years old, untouched, there are a few spots to attend to at a few stone chips.
