A fantastic 1972 Land Rover Series 3, with replacement galvanised chassis and upgraded, sweet running 200tdi engine. V5 Historic Vehicle, Tax, MoT and ULEZ exempt.
I have owned the car for approximately 7 years, during which time I had the car professionally repainted, replaced all the wheels with later tubeless defender wheels and 7. 50 x 16 Michelin tyres (original available if wanted), as well as tidying up various cosmetic aspects to bring the car to what it is today. Inside the front there are moulded rubber front mat system across footwells, transmission tunnel and under the deluxe seats. In the rear there as twin bench seats. The car currently has a replacement wood steering wheel, but the original, now with stitched leather cover is available.
Everything works exactly as it should, the car has been a dream to own, starting first time, on the button and has been extremely reliable. Have never hesitated to take the car on short or long journeys.
Full soft top (doortops, sticks and khaki tilt, etc) available, but I always drive without the roof, hence no pictures with it in place at the moment (to follow). Optionally, I also have an unused bikini top available.
Sadly, my storage is no longer available, so I have priced the car to sell and need to move it fairly quickly.
This is a tidy, fantastically reliable truck whether used daily or for summer weekends only.
