The car has had 3 previous owners.
During my ownership, the car has been very much a Sunday drive - only ever taxed for 6 months of the year (April -Sept) and was bought primarily for summer European road trips. The car has run faultlessly on our trips to The Alpes, The Pyrenees, Switzerland, South of France, Germany and Italy.
In the final year of production, Mercedes launched a very limited number of the SL Designo cars. The cars were available as an SL280 or SL320. This is the SL280 in Almandine Black.
The designo offered something very special and in very limited numbers - only 50 of each combination.
This car is finished in Bordeaux Leather with 6 hole, lightweight two piece alloy wheels, Designo embroidery, Walnutt Burr Trim, matching floor mats, heated memory seats and rear passenger seats.
