Original French car, LHD, 3 owners from new, I am the 3rd and I knew the 2nd owner whom I bought it from and who sadly just passed away in May 2020. I have it since 1998.... 58, 000 kms from new... some service history.. some corrosion needing attention…. never restored…. starts and drives well,... only selling reluctantly due to other projects and not getting around to taking proper care of such a desirable motor.

I bought the car in 1998.
Had been looking for a god one for years previous.
By good fortune my bank manager at the time in Calais, France mentioned to me that he was thinking of selling his DS that he had garaged for some years as he was moving house.
He bought the car from it's previous original owner a lady who did small mileage on it.
I paid him for the car and the deal was subject to him delivering it to Ireland with many cases of nice french wines and he and his wife stayed with us and toured Ireland in the DS, after they offloaded the wine.
I drove the car regularly and had it on display at some shows.
It's been garaged for some years. last serviced in early 2023.
Has developed some corrosion sadly with the passing of time in the irish climate but is a desirable asset worth spending some money on to have a fantastic low mileage and 3 owner example of such an iconic car.
