2002 Rover 45

Lovely low mileage Rover 45 1. 4 iL (ULEZ Compliant!) in outstanding condition.

First registered in December 2002 on a 52 plate, so obviously a pre-facelift car and therefore better built than the later cars, This isn't your usual, rotten, rubbish 45!

I bought this smashing car in early 2022 as a gift for my daughter, thinking that she could learn to drive in it and then have it as her first car. Having spent considerable time and money having the car thoroughly gone through by my local Rover specialist to ensure its' reliability and roadworthiness, Said daughter has now decided that she would rather have the money to go travelling!....... KIDS!

Anyway, this 45 is a five door hatchback in Royal blue with contrasting two tone cloth interior, alloy wheels, electric front windows, air conditioning, central locking and reversing sensors. It also has an after-market Kenwood Stereo with cd and tailored floor mats.

Just had a full service including cam belt and water pump, the head pressure tested, new head gasket, drive belts and all fluids and filters, new radiator, new battery and complete new clutch, new tyres, new brakes and new exhaust, all done by my trusted local MG/ Rover specialist and a fresh, advisory free MoT test as of 20th June 2023

The car has only done 61, 500 miles and drives without fault. Everything works as it should. Since the last MoT test, about 400 miles have been put on her and she hasn't used a drop of coolant or oil.

There is no rust underneath and the bodywork is exceptionally clean for a car that is 21 years old! The interior is also very clean and smart, even the headlining is excellent and the clock works! Obviously there are a few very minor car park blemishes on the bodywork, but really nothing worth mentioning, it presents well and looks really smart, as you can see in the photographs.

As a bonus, it is also fully ULEZ compliant!

Ideal first car as it's cheap to own, run and insure. I would have no issues driving it to the other end of the Country

The V5 is present and in my name since January 2022.
