Owned by myself since 2015 this 3 owner car was stripped to a bare shell about 20 years ago. The car was rebuilt to standard specification using as many of the original parts. The structure is original, being rustproofed when new. No welding was done or needed. The car was painted in its original Rose Taupe in 2 pack and
still presents well today.
This is a matching numbers car with many of the component parts date stamped 1967. New rubber seals were used in all glass together with a complete braking system. The interior and carpets are original.
The car starts, drives and stops well, but would benefit from a refresh due mainly to lack of use.
I have a Hertage Certificate, DVLA ownership history and MOT history since the rebuild, all of which can be seen online.
As said before the car is standard apart from Pertronix electronic ignition, inertia reel front seatbelts, door mirrors and halogen headlights. Last summer I refurbished the suspension, a mix of poly and rubber and cleaned the underside of waxoyl to expose the quality of the underside.
In my ownership the car has been stored indoors, most of the time on axle stands.
