Car has been stored in a lockup for 16 years and so will need properly recommissioning to get it up and running again and avoid potential risk of damage. Therefore, car is being sold as a complete non-running project that will require collecting with a trailer or similar. Ideal ‘Barn find’ style project for someone with sufficient time / funds to invest in the car and bring it back to its former glory.
Car was fitted with a carbon fibre bonnet and aftermarket 17in wheels, but these have been removed and car is now fitted with stock Toyota 16in rims and a stock (unfortunately red) bonnet. Paintwork could do with a refresh to make the car pristine again with some lacquer peel on the nearside front wing and other minor blemishes.
Car was put away into storage in 2008 running and without any issues. Car was run (once) at Santa Pod drag strip in Jap Show RWYB and performed really well with ¼ mile time of 13. 00secs @ 109mph (pic included of it on the strip and class number still visible on rear window).
Car was built to a strong BPU spec running ~300bhp, using high quality period parts. Spec listed below:
