My 1987 Harris Triumph Bonneville 750 No. 976 is a lovely matching numbers bike first registered on 19 Aug 1987. I have documented history of the bikes ownership (6 from new) and hardcopy MOT’s, tax disc and expenditure back to 2001. Currently under SORN with the last MOT expiring May 23. Records back up a very low 4993 miles on the original Veglia speedo and the bike remains in very good and near original condition. Within the last 12 months the bike has had a minor recommissioning that included new tyres, chain, fuel lines, plugs and leads etc. The Brembo brake callipers also were refurbished and x2 new Amal 1. 5 carbs fitted, it retains its Lucas Rita electronic ignition that works faultlessly. I've had this Harris Bonneville for a little over a year now but am having to sell my group of bikes for personal reasons. There is a lot of web based information on the 1250 or so Harris Triumphs built under licence after Meriden closed. Very similar to a T140V, I believe, with updated forks, brakes and switchgear. The first owner of this bike passed away and the bike had to be laid up until the estate was settled, I have a letter from the original dealer confirming these details and milage in 2001. No. 796 is in a fabulous and slightly used condition, the work I've done recently has rectified some age related/ under use issues.
