Genuine Ford fiesta mk1 XR2 in what has to be said for a 41 year old car is in fantastic condition. We purchased the vehicle back in 2015 as a vehicle to use on nice days to and from various car shows and honestly it’s been a joy to own. As most are torn apart now for restoration this solid example remains original and unmolested making it a fairly rare find.
It’s been used very little over the past few years so I’ve decided it would be best placed in a new home for someone else to enjoy. It starts first turn of the key and drives without any faults. no knocks or bangs from the car and the little 83hp engine pulls well without any smoke or noises.
I purchased the car back in March 2015 because it’s always been a real favourite in my opinion and a must have for my car collection. I believe at some point it was purchased by a Ford enthusiast over in Ireland for some years before coming back over here. it’s actually surprisingly nippy having the 1598cc ohv engine producing a strong 83hp. You can’t drive this car without beeps and waves from passers by it’s just a lovely little car.
