Purchased by present owner in 1969 and used as daily transport until put into dry, secure storage. Recommissioned in 1990 and a full 'chassis up' rebuild was completed in 2013. The engine was reconditioned, cylinder head modified for unleaded petrol and the aluminium body stripped to bare metal before a respray in its original 1949 colour. New hood, sides screens and tonneau were fitted. The upholstery is largely original and, though showing signs of its 75 years, remains serviceable. The car has done less than 10, 000 miles since this rebuild was completed.

This is not a 'Show car' but is an excellent, useable and rare British classic. An expensive car in its day, it was largely hand built in the Coventry factory and is certainly one of the more attractive cars of its era. I shall be sad to see it go but after 55 years together it is time to part company.
