1949 MGTC in Coventry cream paintwork, rebuilt ground up with new and reconditioned components by a respected Bristol MG garage owner with a lifetime of MG experience of repairing or reconstructing all models for over 40 years.
This magnificent example of the last few to be made is now remade to concours condition with 842 miles running in to date in dry summer weather only.
Totally reconditioned lead free engine. Electronic ignition, new coil, fuel pump and seven blade fan, aluminium rocker cover, reconditioned carbs, KN air filters, new plugs, new radiator, recon starter motor and dynamo, stainless steel exhaust system, recon gearbox , new clutch, all new steering gear, VW steering box, suspension, new springs, shock absorbers and braking equipment plus brake servo, new higher ratio crown wheel and pinion, recon axle bearings and seals, new universal joints to prop shaft, new tyres. 15’’ sports wood/ steel steering wheel.
Powder coated chassis and wheels. New wood body tub and interior leather, full tonneau cover and hood, both new.
All chrome work rechromed. Whole underbody heavily wax oil sprayed eg. wings, wood floor, tub parts, springs running boards etc.

Dual positive earth and negative earth, 12 volt auxiliary system battery to run satnav, speed camera, detector, and iPhone.
Auxiliary kit includes starting handle, knock on mallet, wooden knock on/ off spanner and graduated bamboo petrol tank dipper for fuel level.
Available extras - original rocker cover, new points set, spare new coil and fuel pump, fan belt, speedo and rev counter, new drive cables.
