Original condition 1964 Honda C100 Supercub.
Up to when I bought the bike in 2020 the bike had been owned by the same person from new and had been regularly used for commuting as a reliable work horse.
I had planned to restore the bike but other bikes have taken priority and this bike deserves to be used.
It’s in original condition and starts and runs well. The frame is rust free but the wheel rims and exhaust are original and have some rust on them as do the bottom of the shocks. The paintwork isn’t bad but there is some paint missing on the plastic parts and it could do with a repaint. There is a new seat cover on the bike.
It’ll need a new rear number plate as I was planning to put a black historic plate on it and now can’t find the original.
It’s sold as seen as although I have ridden it in the past it’s very much as the original owner had last used it. Clutch and gear change work okay and it’s an easy starter.
It has a period Rickman top box although the key is missing. The box opens and I believe it’s possible to either get a key to match the lock or buy a new lock.
The bike is registered as historic and has a V5. These Cubs have a charm all of their own. Light weight and very economical. This bike is tax and mot free and ULEZ exempt.
