Austin 7 Hamblin Cadet Mk2. This car has a 1931 Austin 7 chassis strengthened and fitted with the Hamblin GRP body in 1960's and Reliant 850cc high compression aluminium "yellow top" engine in the 1980's. Bowden independent suspension unit. Renovated in 2021/ 2. Complete strip down. Chassis and wheels blasted etc. Body resprayed. Body has unusual scalloped out moulding behind seats to allow for more seat adjustment.
Rewired to British standard with relays and some LED lighting.
New marine ply floor. New dash. New seats. and Brooklyn style screens fitted.
Engine rebuild including rings, valves, bearings, new timing chain and electronic ignition.
New hydraulic Morris brake system complete. Retains original Austin 7 hand brake.
New king pins and some rear suspension parts. Tyres and tubes all good. Spare gear box and other bits. Lots of literature and books/ manuals.
