For sale is this extremely clean 1986 Porsche 928 S3!
This car has been looked after above and beyond most old Porsche’s. It has been sat and stored in a heated unit for just over 2 years with regular checking, kept in a completely dry environment. With only 175 928S’ left in the UK, this is a rare and clean example of a 4. 7L Water-cooled V8 Porsche! Being a 1986 928, it has black front and rear spoilers, as well as side protection strips and side indicators. This specific 928 has recently been recommissioned with a brand-new Fresh MOT till 27th March 2025, proving that everything works exactly as it should! This car comes with more than full service history and a mass amount of invoices with no expenses spared, as well as its original owner's manual and booklets!
This 928 S is a rust-free example. All the arches and sills are in complete rot free condition (as shown in photos) showing how well this car has been cared for over the years. The underneath has been stripped and undersealed to prevent any future rust and removing any surface corrosion that may have been there before. The paintwork is in amazing condition for a near 40-year-old red car, besides the odd age-related mark but nothing really that noticeable! The interior, featuring red tunneled leather seats matching the exterior paintjob, is in great condition. The seats have electric adjustability with the leather showing the odd mark, but no major damage! In the rear, the seats are in a perfect state and equipped with quirky rear sun visors!
Mechanically, the engine is on 118, 552 Miles and runs and drives absolutely perfectly. It had a cambelt change and full service 6 Miles ago! It starts first time every time and idles spot on. The gearbox works exactly as it should and pulls the car perfectly. The steering is extremely precise and assisted with power steering. The car has cruise control and a obviously pop up headlights as well as a number of other quirky features! The car has had everything doing to it that ever needed doing with invoices to prove, as well as most recently a brand new battery as of 2 days ago. The singular MOT advisory was for a minor oil leak, which would need looking at if I'm being picky on an old car!
