For sale this low mileage (c38K) 3 owner 3 door rover 214si 16 valve car in white and grey.

Purchased to use for a few weeks whilst my usual toy was away having work done, I drove this lovely Rover for around 150 trouble free miles and took it to a car show where it got attention for being a rare sight, esp as a 3 door. I have sat in traffic for a long time and the temp sits perfect. 59 miles have been motorway and she is happy at 70 :), comfortable car too.

I do like the car but don't have the space to keep it (really wish I could) so the car needs a new home.

A good service history also supported by paperwork with the original handbook. The car has what I believe to be the original dealer sticker in the rear screen and Rover rear number plate.

Very clean MOT history which also validates miles. The car drives remarkably well, comfortable with smooth gear changes and engine runs sweet. Starts first turn of the key no issues and no blue smoke on cold start ups.

Interior as seen in pictures, really good, Would benefit from headlining being re-glued and usual wood trim needs sorting, comes with a spare which you can refurb then replace. The radio works, I have not tried the cassette, and it is the genuine Rover stereo is still in place. Rear speakers need replacing (these are cheap)

Heater works well and the fan works on speed 3 and 4 not 1 and 2, I have ordered the resistor to fix this so it may be resolved in the next week or two. Everything else works as it should.

This is an honest car with age related marks, very clean and tidy and in remarkable condition inside and out, solid underneath, it also benefited from a new front cross member in 2015. Some minor rust on arches as seen in pictures, this would not take much to sort.

Pads and discs have plenty of life left in them as do the rear shoes. there are no oil leaks at all, car is super dry.

Overall a drive away classic car, ready to go. I do have videos on request of the car running and of the underneath.

Price £3450 ono, collection from Swindon, payment by bank transfer preferred no p/ x

Rover were a premium brand, part of British history. I had these when new as company cars covering 130k on the roads, lovely cars. being in need of a short term car I saw this and could not resist,. The car has been used locally and taken to castle Combe for a car show where the attention it gained was notable.
