1989 Porsche 944 S2 in satin black metallic with linen leather.

100k miles and 8 owners. Manual, sunroof, 10-disc CD changer, remote central locking, alarm, ABS, sports suspension. Currently fitted with Porsche Cup alloys; the original D90s are included in the sale. MOT November 2023. Major service completed in March 2024.

I have had the pleasure of owning this beautiful 944 for three years, covering 10, 000 miles mostly on tours across the UK and France. New child forces a reluctant sale as I need a more practical car and living in central London I don’t drive enough to justify garaging and maintaining two vehicles.

Exterior paintwork and alloys are in good condition but with imperfections throughout as one would expect for a car of this age. Minor imperfections to the interior include a very small tear to the driver’s seat base, a 2cm crack to the dash, and a crack and chip to the plastic of the heater controls and radio respectively. Mechanically everything works as it should, although the rear wiper and CD changer can be temperamental. The car retains its original tools, manuals, removable sunroof pouch, and window glass. The car has been garaged under my ownership and by the previous owner.

Good service record with 9 stamps over the first 76k miles of the car’s life from 1989-1999. Partial history (5 stamps) for the next 13k miles covered up to 2021; with the previous two owners maintaining and undertaking a lot of work themselves retaining only partial paperwork. Since I acquired the car in 2021 I have maintained it at Tower Porsche. Maintenance under my ownership includes a new exhaust, battery, speakers, wiper blades, CV gators, rear tyres (Pirelli), cooling fan switch, power steering and flywheel brackets, two major services, and various other smaller fixes and improvements. Work under the previous owner included belts, water pump, sports suspension, exhaust, windscreen, tyres (Falken), roof seals, outer sills, and a new Sigma alarm.

Included in the sale are both the Cup alloys the car currently sports and the original D90s; black floor mats, spare Bosch S4 battery; a 3-spoke sports steering wheel; two Classic Additions car covers (a Super Soft Stretch indoor cover in blue and an Ultimate Outdoor cover in grey); a replacement Porsche lettering sticker for the rear of the car; and various other spares and accessories. The car comes with 2 sets of keys.

The car is available for viewing in SE17 where I’m also happy to take you for a drive as a passenger. Test drives are possible upon confirmation of valid insurance (e. g. Insuredaily will provide day insurance for the car). A beautiful and very usable car that continues to turn heads on every drive and that I will very much miss.
