I bought this SR coupe (RKH 600W) from another Manta Owners Club member, as I had been looking for a good Manta B for a long time. This ticked all the boxes as coupe, manual, reasonable miles, and good condition. The factory colour is a rare Pistacchio Green, and in good condition overall for a car of 43 years - historic status in UK!
There is a small amount of corrosion starting on the headlight silvering, but a pair of good replacement headlights are included in the sale. A rust spot appeared on the top edge of osf wing about a year ago, inside the bonnet edge, but has been treated with rustkill and has not got any worse - easy repair or replacement, but not a big issue to me. Chassis rails have been repaired and treated by a previous owner.
There's a sliding factory sunroof in the vinyl roof which works well - and no evidence of rust! Velour interior in good condition, SR steering wheel fitted, factory ATS alloys and good tyres, front driving lamps and rear foglamps work as do the dinky headlight wipers.
Almost forgot to mention that the Manta has a heated front windscreen from a UK rally company, as I couldn't find a standard one for a spare Manta I was selling, so swapped the heated one into here, and put the original screen into the other Manta before I sold that.
Drives well, just hasn't been used much as part of my Opel collection down here in New Zealand. The car is still registered as SORN (off road notice) in the UK, not exported, so in theory could be brought back over to UK and put straight on the road. Shipping cost from NZ to UK is about £2500 at present.
