The Appeal

The Opel Manta is one of the most charismatic coupés to emerge from Germany in the 1970s. With its clean, purposeful lines and engaging driving character, it carved out a loyal following that endures to this day, and good, original examples are increasingly sought after.

This particular Manta is described by the vendor as being in very original condition throughout, and is said to be an excellent car to drive. As per its DVLA record, it was originally fitted with a 1.9-litre engine, though the under-bonnet images in the gallery suggest it has been replaced with a 2.2-litre fuel-injected unit, paired with a five-speed manual gearbox. It is reportedly accompanied by a history folder for the next custodian.
