A fully restored, UK market limited edition 911SC Sport model, benefitting from all it's original period specification still present, a full engine rebuild, comprehensive bodywork and chassis restoration, and a full interior retrim. Comes with a full documented history and was the subject of a recent cover and feature article for Classic Porsche magasine. First registered from new in the UK on the 26th April 1981, a factory Minerva Blue exterior over tan leather interior limited edition Sport model, which specifies the car from Factory withBilstein dampers, whaletail rear spoiler, front lip spoiler, 16" Fuch wheels, sports seats and a radio cassette with electric aerial. Being the 81 model-year car, it also benefits from the higher compression, higher power 204bhp engine. The car was first serviced mainly by JCT600, Bianchi Porsche and Autofarm in its early years, then moved almost exclusively to JZ Machtec in Kings Langley through the 90's. JZM conducted the engine rebuild in October '95 at 102, 908 miles, with the invoice showing that the rebuild work included new valves and guides, recut valve seats, new case studs, full chain gear replacement and full bearing sets. At the same time that the engine was out for rebuild, a fully documented bodywork restoration was entrusted to Chris Carty at 911 Bodyshop in Wembley(now known as (911 Triple R). The car went in to long-term storage in 2007, and in 2022 was brought back in to service, commencing with a series of recommissioning works conducted initially by the previous owner and then concluded at MCE Porsche. Recent works have included the normal attention to all scheduled service items and the following additional actions to bring the car back to its exemplary condition.
MCE restored original Fuch wheels fitted, 7J x 16" front and 9J x 16" rear. New tyres 205/ 55ZR16 front plus 245/ 45ZR16 rear Pirelli P-Zeros. 4-wheel geometry alignment performed. New stainless steel exhaust system. All brake calipers removed, rebuilt and refitted along with a new brake master cylinder.
The car was awarded its first new MOT since the early 2000's on the 27th April 2022 at 134, 282 miles and has seen little use since. Now fully recommissioned with a recent MOT to the 23rd Feb 2025.
