I have a hobby where I buy survivors that are worth saving and will one day be a classic (forgive the cliché) but it's true. I then spend money fixing issues and the pass them on at a loss.
This Granada has been admired by the professionals wherever I took it for mending - they all agree that it is a very solid car.
The pictures make it clear regarding the surface condition and I can assure you that the underneath is just as clean.
It was recently MOT'd and serviced along with a new battery, fuel pump and water pump and the disc pads were replaced following an advisory from the MOT.
A couple of issues will require attention from the next custodian of the car - Although it is a new battery, it would be completely dead after 48 hours. The auto-electrician diagnosed a faulty fuse to do with the radio - so that was disconnected. I don't know if the radio can be refurbed or if another one would be required. Also the central locking has just become intermittent.
This is a gift to lovers of the Ford Granadas. It really is a case of that other great cliché - find another one like this.
