This car has just been recommissioned back to roadworthy condition, having been off for 3 years. Work included replacement of brake pipes, renewal of the exhaust system with an original Honda parts from the downpipe back and a full service together with other bits and bobs.
Its lifetime average fuel consumption is 77. 3 mpg as you can see in the pictures which is impressive given its mileage. As it is mostly made of aluminium, the body is in great shape although there are several cosmetic issues as shown, mainly the bonnet paint, a dent in the drivers door and damage to the rear spat. There is also a crack in the windscreen but not intrusive or an MOT problem.
It does not suffer from the common wet seatbelt syndrome, but does crunch on second gear downshifting. I will include the Honda workshop manual which is in two volumes, and just to say that the log book is present and in my name and it has 12 months MOT.
As a UK spec car, the road tax is zero and It is also ULEZ compliant. Its main attraction is its miserly fuel consumption, but I think it is a good shape too. The wheels have been refurbished at some point and are fitted with a matching set of Michelin Energy tyres from 2018. The aircon radiator has been removed before I got the car but the pipes are still in place.
I have access to a car hoist so you could view the new exhaust and brake pipes from underneath if you wished.
If you do some searching you will find that these cars will go for very high mileages, provided they are looked after, which is a testament to the quality of the engineering that went into creating them.
I am happy to take viewers for a test drive to demonstrate its dynamic qualities, which are suprisingly good. The auto stop/ start operates correctly as well.
