Classic 3-cylinder 2-stroke Suzuki GT550 motorbike.
Built in 1973 and imported into the UK in early 2018, and so it is now registered on an age-appropriate 'L' suffix. Also registered as a Historic Vehicle so tax and MOT exempt, although it has been voluntarily MOT'd and it's valid until April 2025. It is also Clean Air Zone and ULEZ exempt.
Just 50, 000 miles from new.
Although the bike was originally red it has been painstakingly restored over recent years, and has been repainted in the current striking two-tone green colour scheme. It might be an original factory colour option, though, as there's a video on a certain well-known video-sharing platform of one in America in the same colours.
Not a vehicle for shrinking violets as it's running non-standard exhausts - one for each cylinder! - and it creates quite a bit of noise! The exhausts are Higgspeed and good as new. However, it does also go very well.
I have just been out on this little gem and can confirm it runs and rides very well indeed. Engine runs and sounds very sweet. Please someone buy it before I decide to keep it!
