I am the 7th owner as of august 2018 of the vehicle since it was imported into the UK in 2000 and it has had a huge amount of work and restoration by myself .
The car wasnt very well cared for when I purchased it from a private seller who loved the idea of the car but lacked the skills, cash or knowledge of undertaking the maintainance of this now 30 yeatr old JDM rarity.
Ive owned many celicas of the same generation over the years but never a convertible and knowing what I know now I would have looked for something that had the work done to it that ive had to carry out.

Hopefully the images will give you some idea of how much better this car looks other others currently advertised.

It has MOT until21st february 2025

I have most of the invoices for new parts ( i darent add up how much ive spent) these obviously don't include the many good condition used parts I have sourced.

The car is now the best handling celica I have owned and I think one of the best looking.

work I have carried out....

* Pro installed SIGMA Thatchem CAT1 alarm and immobiliser.
* Timing belt, water pump, belt tensioner, idler bearing, oil pump seal, crankshaf seal change this year.
* New genuine PAS bottle and pump valve including a good used rack with new track rod ends and lower ball joints.
* NGK leads, plugs
* fully serviced yearly by myself . i will include the following service 5ltr bottle of oil with the sale.

* every bush has been changed on the front and rear running gear, * rear trailing arms and front lower arms were also refurbished including new bolts and nuts where applicable.
* new top mounts, shocks, lowering springs, drop links.
* new solonoids and filter in the auto gearbox.
* brakes rebuilt and refurbished including pads and drilled discs.
* many random new little bits here and there such as the bonnet * rod holding clip and vacuum pipes :)
There is probably more but I shall update accordingly.

I also have many spares that will be included with the sale includingbut not limited to both qtr windows, roof and window switches and window runners and motors.

Exterior...
* Toyota JDM Curren rear lights
* front lights inners painted black
* genuing SS3 rear bumper spats
* genuine SS3 side skirts adapted to fit the convertible
* Genuine TOM'S front bumper spoilet
* Toyota Curren boot spoiler
* LED side lights and plate lamps
* Gen 7 T-sport alloys with new Hankook tyres all round
* has been painted previously but the car is now 30 years old so very much expected
* facelift front bumper, fogs and indicators
* genuine rare facelift bumper mesh.
* new used fully working roof.
* new genuine qtr window plates with rollers imported from the USA .
The roof and windows are fully functioning and will do for many years due to the new genuine parts fitted.
* New genuine dorr glass scraper mouldings purchased last moth from japan which are still in the box.

Interior..
* gen 7 front seats
* Black and grey leater rears.
* very good condition interior carpet was sourced.
*£400 kenwood android auto stereo with bluetooth and google maps.
pioneer rear speakers and upgraded fronts. (ideally would benefit from a small subwoofer)
* very good condition used gear selector sourced as the selector numbers are no longer available new
* speedo dial swapped for a calibrated style as the car still is in kms but the face now has the correct mph speed numbers in the right places as originally little stickers wire placed marking 30, 50 70 etc mph
* matt silver dash trims
* air vents overhauled and the crumbling foam has been replaced with new felt so now the block air when closed( how many other celicas have had these little details taken care of?)
* cigarette lighter replaced with dual 45w usbc inputs and volt meter.
* I have near mint doorcards to fit.
* new fitted aftermarket floor mats
* new genuine rear tonneau cover imported from the USA

This is most of the obvious things to me that i can think of but it has been a 6 year project and likely forgotten many things.

hopefully the images will speak for themselves. Its a super cool Jdm rarity which has people staring and presumably wondering what it is.
Its auto gearbox is smooth and has enough poke to keep up with much more modern cars, Its also a comfy cruiser.
the paintwork waxes up lovely and really shines nice in the rare sun we get here in the UK.
